The property record page consists of multiple areas and tabs. In this section we'll try and introduce the main sections of the record screen.

The basic details tab

The first tab is a summary of the key details on a property and lease. The top left area is related to the property's physical and legal attributes - its address, the landlord, and the units that are in it if it's a multi-let property like a shopping centre.

Lower down the details of the lease (if let) are shown:

Properties06LeaseDetails

Terms and Diary Tab

This tab includes some of the more detailed information about the lease, such as terms for reviews and breaks, break notice periods, assignment, underletting and planning clauses.

Properties07AdditionalDetails

If you need to add additional events, you can use the "Add" button to insert them. This includes shortcuts for commonly inserted events such as breaks and uplifts.

Properties08EventsAdd

If you change key events such as the lease start or expiry events, you may find that the Events list and the tenancy details on the first tab get out of synch. You should then press the "Update Lease From Diary" button which will refresh the tenancy record with your changes.

Properties09RebuildEvents

The Transactions tab is where you enter in a full break down of a unit's physical accommodation and its associated valuation(s). This is dealt with in a separate topic here.
