To add a new company, first press the link on the left hand side menu - "Add Company".
You'll be asked to do a basic search first to ensure the company isn't already in the database. Don't type in the full company name - just part of it, eg. "Boots" not "Boots Opticians Limited". This increases the chances of finding any company that's the right one but has been entered using a slightly different name.
If the search doesn't find the company, press the "Need to add a new company" button.
A new company record will be shown, which you can then type the relevant details into. Note that if you have the "Capitalise for me" box ticked, it will automatically capitalise words as you type except some of the more common words such as "the", etc.
If the town isn't shown in the drop down list, please get your Administrator to add it via the "Manage towns" screen.
Once you've added a new company, you can add contacts to it via the Contacts tab in the usual way.
